Hey all. Found this place after getting told to ‘read the wiki’ for the hundredth time for asking a genuine beginner question. So here’s a proper welcome thread. Introduce yourself, tell us what you’re pulling shots on, and what got you into home espresso in the first place. I’ll start: I’m two months in on a Gaggia Classic Pro with a Baratza Encore ESP, drinking way too many cortados, and I still cannot steam milk to save my life. Latte art looks like a Rorschach test. What I love about this hobby is that every morning is a tiny experiment and when a shot finally comes out sweet and syrupy it genuinely makes my day. No question too basic in this thread. What’s on your counter and how long have you been at it?
